Hi, I’m Amanda Fernandez, founder of Waypoint North. My journey as a leader and coach has been anything but typical, and that’s exactly why I’m passionate about helping leaders like you uncover what matters most, lead with authenticity, and create lasting impact.
I remember the day I defended my doctoral dissertation while balancing life as a mother of three, a full time Director, and a full time student. Walking across that stage wasn’t just a milestone, it was proof that with resilience and focus, we can achieve what once seemed impossible. That experience taught me that leadership isn’t just about titles or tasks; it’s about staying true to your values while navigating the complexities life throws your way.
After years working in K-12 administration and nonprofit leadership and earning a doctorate in Educational and Organizational Leadership, I realized that what leaders really need is a coach who understands both the science and the soul of leadership. Someone who can hold space for deep reflection, challenge assumptions, and cheer you on as you grow.
